St George will once again do battle with the dragon on Town Square during St George’s Day – at 10am, Wednesday, 23rd April. Local schools have been invited and a performance will be given by Hillcrest School choir.
Also there will be a Fun Day on the Town Square on Saturday, 26th April from 10am-3pm, with a roundabout, face painting, tin can alley etc. All free of charge so come along and enjoy the fun.
Unlike the other ‘local’ papers which are owned by big businesses, downhamweb has always been owned and run by local people in Downham Market. Our reporting will always be free without paywalls, independent from advertisers and run for the benefit of the community.
