Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk, Stephen Bett and his Deputy Jenny McKibben are coming to Downham Market to meet and listen to members of the community.
As part of his 10-point pledge plan the commissioner has outlined that he will “listen to the community, reaching out to minority communities and the disengaged to ensure policing is fair and equitable”.
As part of this pledge Commissioner Bett is coming to Downham Market to take note of any crime and policing views that the local community may have, so if you want to come along to say ‘hello’ (or anything else) then he and his Deputy will be at the Downham Market Library, Priory Centre, Priory Road on Tuesday, 16th April 2013 from 2pm until 4pm.
As the head of the Police Force he is the ideal man to speak to if you have any particular feelings or ideas on crime and policing.
Stephen Bett was voted as Commissioner on Friday ,16th November 2012 by the residents of Norfolk, after he won the election 39,988 votes to 36,605.
