2012 Downhamweb Photo Competition

With the terrific amount of shimmering white snow we had last month we were pleased to be able to run a photo competition for the downhamweb community. The competition was comprised of two different categories, ‘Snowy Downham’ and ‘Downham’s Best Snowman’! We’d like to thank all of you who submitted photographs, and are pleased to announce the winning photographer was Diane Town for her photo of the snowman on the Priory Gate stone: Our judge felt this picture was the best entry submitted, as not only did it include a superb snowman, but also included a a recognisable landmark of Downham Market (and it wasn t the town clock!).   As our winning photo was of a snowman, the runner up prize of £10 will go to:  So congratulations to our winners, who have been contacted with further instructions on how to collect their prizes! We plan on running more photo competitions in the future, so be sure to follow our twitter or like our facebook (if you haven’t done so already) since our followers are always the first to hear of these events.
