The Downham Club on Paradise Road sold for £750,000 in March this year at auction after the club closed in 2021. Today documents from the land registry reveal that the new owner of the club is the company Talat Khoshakhlaq & Co Limited.
The company, registered at a Norwich address, is directed by Dr Ardeshir Danesh and Marjan Ravakhah. The company runs branches of the Willows Pharmacy in Downham Market, Terrington St. John, and in Norwich.
Dr Danesh, a pharmacist himself, opened the Terrington St. John pharmacy in 2015 after having provided a mobile care unit in the village following the closure of the local doctors surgery.
Danesh and Ravakhah started a new company in March this year which describes the nature of its business as ‘buying and selling of own real estate’. This company was incorporated a week before the auction where the Downham Club was sold.
