The Willows Nature Reserve came to life with children s laughter on Wednesday as children from Clackclose Primary School kicked off the Downham in Bloom 2012 campaign Around 55 eager pupils descended on The Willows in order to plant daffodils and officially kick start the campaign in the town. It is the sixth year that Downham Market has entered the regional competition and the town s in Bloom committee is pushing for a gold award next year having safely secured a silver gilt for a three years running!. Pupils had a fantastic time and hope their efforts will help the town secure the gold award. Downham in Bloom is led by West Norfolk Borough Council and Downham Market Town Council and includes a host of community groups, residents and businesses.
