A massive crowd at the Downham Market Festival Parade day helped make it a great success.
On a beautiful day that reached 18°C Downham’s annual Festival and Parade was a glorious success. There were smiles all round as the parade made its way through town, from the railway station to the Howdale.
There is never a dull moment during the parade and this year was no exception, the nun driving a tractor was a definite highlight and received a lot of applause throughout the parade.
Congratulations to the members of the St. Edmunds float who won the ‘Best Dressed Float’ award.
