Downham in Bloom will be holding its increasingly popular annual Schools’ seed trays and Care Homes’ container gardens competitions in the Town Hall bar room from 12 noon on Saturday, 12th July 2014 when over 300 beautiful items will be on display. This year’s theme is ‘A Garden for Peace’. Also, at 12 noon there will also be presentations for the various categories in the Front Garden competition.
If you are not able to visit on Saturday, there will be another opportunity for viewing the display on Sunday, 13th (our Big Clean Up day!) or on Monday 14th from 10am-12noon where there will be an opportunity to see our fantastic ‘In Bloom’ cake very kindly made and donated by Knicats’ Bakers in readiness for the Anglia in Bloom Judges’ reception. In the meantime, the cake will be on display in Knights Bakery in High Street North”.
