Bands Wanted to perform at Lewks for Record Store Day

Downham Market’s independent music shop, Lewks, will be celebrating Record Store Day this year by inviting local bands to play at the shop throughout the day.

Record Store Day came into being in 2007 in the US. The UK followed suit, and 2013 will be the 6th annual celebration of independently owned record stores across the country.

To mark the occasion Lewks is looking for 13 people or groups, each of whom will be asked to perform a half hour acoustic set, on Saturday 20th April 2013.

If you are interested – pop into the shop (on Wales Court, Downham Market) and sign up. Spots will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
