Plans to create 4,500 permanent jobs and 1,500 jobs have been put forward to MPs and members of the House of Lords.
The 70-acre former air base has been earmarked due to the town’s fantastic rail links for London and Cambridge.
Aiming to bring world-leading businesses to West Norfolk, the Downham Market Centre for Advanced Knowledge Engineering (CfAke), was showcased in a reception at the House of Commons.
The project is joined by a new investment at RAF Marham, which together hope to bring total of £1bn to the West Norfolk economy.
