Preparations are underway for the annual Hilgay Raft Race due to take place on Sunday 14th July.
As well as the raft race, the afternoon of fun on the Wissey will include the great Hilgay Duck Race.
Meanwhile on the village’s Riverside Field there will be a bouncy castle, lots of stalls to explore and a BBQ.
Gates will open at noon, with the racing beginning at 1pm. Entrance for children and senior citizens is free, with a donation of £1 asked for adults.
Proceeds of the event will go to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
