Yes, it’s perishingly cold outside and only a penguin would dare brave the waters of the Great Ouse Relief Channel right now.
However we’re pleased to announce that the date for the 2013 Downham Market Water Festival has been set for Sunday 11th August.
And despite the icy weather, the Festival Organisers are already recruiting for Dragon Boat Teams.
So we are going to forget about the sleet and daydream about warm summer days and messing about in boats instead.
